Zapier vs. native integrations — which should you use?

    The Integration Dilemma

When connecting Studio Escrow to other tools (like your accounting software or a specialized industry app), you usually have two choices: use a Native Integration or use Zapier (or Make.com).

    Native Integrations

A native integration is built directly into Studio Escrow. Examples include our integrations with Stripe, Google My Business, Facebook Lead Ads, and Shopify.

    • Pros: Free, instant data transfer, highly reliable, supported directly by our team.
    • Cons: Limited to the platforms we have officially partnered with.

    Zapier / Make.com Integrations

Zapier acts as a middleman, allowing Studio Escrow to talk to over 5,000 other apps via webhooks and APIs.

    • Pros: Infinite flexibility. You can connect almost anything to anything.
    • Cons: Costs extra money (Zapier subscriptions can be expensive), introduces a slight delay (latency), and adds another point of failure.

    The Verdict

Always use a Native Integration if one is available. It will save you money and headaches. Only use Zapier when you absolutely must connect to a niche, third-party tool that doesn't have a direct integration. Because Studio Escrow is an all-in-one platform, you'll find you need Zapier far less than you did with your old tech stack.
