The Death of the Sign-In Sheet
Paper sign-in sheets at open houses are terrible. People write illegibly, provide fake phone numbers, and worst of all, you have to spend your Sunday evening manually typing those names into a spreadsheet.
It's 2026. There is a better way.
The QR Code Strategy
Inside Studio Escrow, you can build a simple, mobile-optimized Landing Page with a Form. The form asks for Name, Phone, Email, and "Are you currently working with an agent?"
You generate a QR code for that landing page, print it out, and place it on a nice acrylic stand at the front door of your open house. "Please sign in to view the property brochure."
The Instant Automation
When a buyer scans the code and submits the form while standing in the foyer, the magic happens:
- They are instantly added to your Studio Escrow CRM with the tag "Open House - 123 Main St."
- They immediately receive an automated text: "Thanks for coming by 123 Main St! Here is the digital property sheet and disclosures: [Link]. Let me know if you have any questions while you walk around!"
- If they indicated they are NOT working with an agent, they are automatically added to your 40-Day Buyer Nurture sequence starting the next morning.
The Follow-Up
Because everything is digital, you can send a mass text on Monday morning to everyone who attended: "Hi everyone, thanks for touring 123 Main St. We are calling for highest and best offers by 5 PM Tuesday. Let me know if you'd like to submit!"
No data entry. Perfect follow-up. Maximum professionalism.
