How to Write AI Agent Scripts That Don't Sound Like a Bot

    The Uncanny Valley of AI

We've all interacted with bad AI chatbots. They are overly polite, use too many emojis, give long-winded answers, and sound incredibly robotic. If your AI agent sounds like a bot, your leads will stop replying.

The secret to a great AI agent in Studio Escrow lies in the prompt engineering. You must give the AI a persona, constraints, and a clear goal.

The 3 Pillars of a Great AI Prompt

    1. The Persona

Tell the AI exactly who it is.
"You are Sarah, the friendly and concise intake coordinator for Smith Roofing. You speak casually, use short sentences, and never use exclamation points."

    2. The Constraints

Tell the AI what it CANNOT do. This prevents hallucinations.
"Never quote a specific price. If asked for a price, say that every roof is different and we need to do a free inspection first. Never answer questions outside the scope of roofing."

    3. The Goal

The AI needs a directive. It shouldn't just chat endlessly; it needs to drive the conversation forward.
"Your ultimate goal is to book the user for a free in-person estimate. Always end your messages with a question that moves them toward booking, such as 'Are you available this Tuesday for a quick look?'"

Example: The Perfect Med Spa Prompt

"You are a receptionist at Glow Med Spa. Be warm but brief. Your goal is to book consultations. We offer Botox ($12/unit), Fillers ($600/syringe), and Hydrafacials ($199). If a user asks a medical question, say you can't give medical advice over text but the nurse can answer during the consult. Always end by asking if they prefer morning or afternoon appointments."

By keeping the instructions tight and the tone casual, your leads will genuinely believe they are texting with your front desk staff. That's how you double your booking rate overnight.
